Blog is back in Business

Hello.

It has been ages since I’ve done a blog, around a year I think.

Thought I’d better get it back online and show you some more art related content.

The reason for the absence was for a number of reasons. I had a family matter to deal with over the last year, which was a bit stressful, but is now thankfully resolved. I have also been focusing on my portfolio work and commissioned pieces.  I have been preparing some marketing/promotional material to send off to different people. I also have been looking at the best way to sell some prints of my work on an online store. I want it to offer great value, simple convenience of transactions and varied printing choices. This is something that will be completed shortly, so I will keep you posted on that when it all goes live.

As for the last 12 months I have been doing a lot of pieces for a fantastic Indian Cultural Arts company based in Liverpool called Milapfest.

Have a look at their website:

They always have some really cool events and acts going on all year round so is well worth a look if you are near them.

Hear is a selection of some of my work for them:

I also did some portraits for the Miss Liverpool competition. I got invited by the organizer of the event … a lovely lady called Pat Hughes.

She asked me to do some prizes for the lovely winners Jade Bulmer and Josh Gordon. It was great fun to do and everyone I met at the event was really nice and friendly. Its good to see Liverpool is always a happy go lucky sort of place that is always doing things for its people.

Anyway here are the portraits:

I also been working on around 10 or more highly detailed concept art pieces for my portfolio that I will post up shortly. Concept Art is basically an industry term for design art for the entertainment industry i.e: films and video games etc. This is an area I really am inspired by and enjoy, and will hopefully be able to get to work in the future …. so I will show you some of the stuff as and when they slide of my work bench in the coming weeks.

In the mean time be sure to check out my website regularly, I have put on at least 20 or more new works up over the last few months and I am always producing more pieces in lots of different art styles.

So have a look when you have spare time:
